Cynefin Framework and a Round Table discussion

I'll give a short talk on the Cynefin sense-making framework and how it has helped me understand software problems. Then we'll have a Round Table discussion where you can bring your challenges and concerns and get feedback and support from your peers.

Cynefin Framework - this is a "sense-making" framework. How do you approach a new problem and start to understand it? The framework has been in use in many sectors for over 20 years. I'll describe what it is and how it has helped me understand software problems and get to grips with new products, new features and even legacy code.

Round Table - before we start, you'll have the opportunity to submit your own ideas for discussion on Post-It notes. Then we'll choose a selection of these and open them to the floor for comments, advice and help. We do this under the Chatham House Rule and our Code of Conduct where attendees can be open and express their opinions without risk.
