Demystifying cURL and Optimizing FileMaker Solutions

Greetings FileMaker Developer Group!

It's been too long since we last met, so I am thrilled to start back up on Zoom Thursday, September 9th from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

We will demonstrate step-by-step how to connect FileMaker to a simple API using cURL and the "Insert from URL" script step to pull information from the web. We will use a sample file with the code that we demonstrate so you can pick it apart and copy it into your own solution.

Second, we will talk about ways to optimize your FileMaker solution to improve its performance. This is especially important for FileMaker solutions accessed remotely.

We will also have plenty of time for questions.
