Learn to Meditate in 2026 - Free Ongoing 10 Week Course - All Welcome - Join any Week
PURPOSE - The purpose of this group is to make the life enhancing benefits of Sahaja Yoga Meditation freely available to everyone. These can bring more physical, emotional and spiritual balance and joy into our lives.
ALWAYS FREE - So that these benefits can be available to be enjoyed by everyone, Sahaja Yoga Meditation classes around the world are always free of charge and open to all. No need to book! You can just turn up and join in!
FREE WEEKLY CLASSES FOR ALL (NOW LIVE) IN BIRMINGHAM EVERY THURSDAY EVENING IN 2024! TIME: 7:30 PM TO AROUND 9:00. This includes optional time at the end for enjoying tea, biscuits and chat!
JOIN ANY WEEK - NO NEED TO BOOK - The classes will be gently progressive but each class will have an introduction for beginners and can therefore be taken as an independent module.
Handouts explaining how to also practice this unique meditation technique at home, for deeper benefit, are available to take home free of charge.
SOCIAL DISTANCING - Large airy room. Seating is socially distant Face mask wearing is optional. Hand washing facilities are available.
VENUE ADDRESS:
Our meditation classes are in the Main Hall in Quaker (Friends) Meeting House, on the corner of St James Road and George Road, Edgbaston, Birmingham B15 1JP. (Pedestrian entrance gate is in George Road).
(Note: If you see posters for RoguePlay Theatre there, you have found the right place as we share the building with them)!
PARKING - Free evening parking is available in George Road, by the building. The area is outside the Birmingham Clean Air Zone.
PUBLIC TRANSPORT: The Meeting House is close to multiple travel links:
- BUSES: Tram and various buses (including 1 & 8) travel to Five Ways roundabout which is only about 10 minutes walk to the Quaker (Friends) Meeting House.
- RAIL - Five Ways Rail Station is only 500m from the meeting house and is just a Three minute train journey from central Birmingham New Street station.
- For reference, the large Morrisons, the Broadway Cinema are close to the 5 ways roundabout.
