Birmingham Graphic Novel & Comics book club 📚

Hi I’m new to the meet up app & this is my first time creating an event! As an avid comic book & graphic novel reader iv found its really quite a niche thing here in the uk in comparison to America especially in Birmingham there aren’t too many events/book clubs for graphic novel readers however I know there are plenty out there which is what led to the creation of this group. So with that being said iv decided to create a book club for like minds to meet up & discuss our favourite books, share our knowledge, have a read & essentially grow a little community where we can meet up & have other people to talk to about our favourite books as I know from experience the world of graphic novels is incredible rich in creativity, Amazing story telling & tons of cool stuff to talk about that has happened in the pages of these iconic stories & characters! All graphic novel fans are welcome from the big four “Marvel, DC, Darkhorse, Image comics” as well as other indie companies that are more niche. Independent writers & artists are also welcomed as these discussions will be full of creativity, ideas, what other readers do & don’t like & even inspiration for your own goals. I aim for this to take place once a month to start of with somewhere in Birmingham city centre so we can all get to it from wherever we’re coming from around the city. Date & location yet to be announced once we have established a few members then we can go from there 📚
