Spring is in full swing, which means there is fresh produce abound! We’re talking about everything from asparagus to fennel to wild mushrooms and more. Take advantage of the season with a cooking class and join Chef JR Jacobson from your own kitchen. In this 1 ½ hour virtual class, we will be cooking a few dishes together that highlight spring flavors. Have questions? You can ask the chef directly! Worried you can’t keep up with the class? Don’t worry, we will provide recipes and recordings if you need to revisit. Invite your friends and make it a party. We are here to have fun and make some good food. Of course, a bottle of wine always helps!

The event will be hosted through Zoom; a link is now available - please register to claim your seat. The menu and shopping list are now available through this shared Google folder. If you have a special request, please message the event organizer directly.

A little about Chef JR Jacobson: Chef Jacobson is no stranger to Birmingham and its culinary heritage. He has over 10 years of experience working with local farmers, food advocates and in Birmingham’s food scene. He has been the Executive Chef at Chez Lulu & Continental Bakery, and Chef de Cuisine at Little Savannah Restaurant & Bar. He is passionate about supporting local farms and using the freshest ingredients from local producers.
