From 1997 to 2017 celebrating 20 years of Visual Studio, join us in kicking the tires on the new model and take it for a quick test drive to highlight the new features geared to increase developer productivity. There are many updates coming in the new release of Visual Studio, and we will try and highlight as many as possible.

Speaker Bio:

Jody Hershbine is a software developer with EBSCO Ind., Air Force F-16 Maintenance Analyst, and Agile Birmingham leader. who is fervent in creating quality software that solves problems and creates efficiencies. Spent 7 years creating software for tactical and strategic war games that train Air Force officers to infuse doctrine into their war fighting thought process, molding future leaders on the battlefield. As a Master Sergeant in the Air National Guard, I have been trained to spot trends and abnormalities in the F-16 Fighting Falcon maintenance, possibly saving pilots and aircraft from unforeseen inflight emergencies. These skills translate in the ability to spot the right tool for the job, and one well-worn tool is Visual Studio.
