What we’re about
Welcome to our group. We are free to join with no membership fees. Strictly 18+
We welcome all tastes - classic rock, alternative, metal, punk, ska, pop-punk, grunge, goth and industrial. We are a pretty diverse and open minded group of people.
If you’re new to the city and want to meet new people or just looking for a good night out in Birmingham then feel free to join us. We try to do a regular social event once a week but the group go on more informal nights out and meet up at gigs together too.
The best way to stay up to date is via our Whatsapp groups. That’s where a lot of spontaneous, informal plans get made. Please get in touch with the main organisers, Richard or Jenni, for the link.

Simeon Hammond Dallas was born and raised in the rich musical and cultural melting pot of Camden Town. Growing up listening to her parent’s eclectic record collection that spanned artists from The Cranberries to Ella Fitzgerald, her music traverses genres and is described by Holler Country as “a no-f***’s-given distinctly millennial take on Americana and blues, that sounds like Bonnie Raitt would have if her songs had been written by Alanis Morissette”. Through a catalogue filled with intersectional storytelling, Simeon Hammond Dallas gives voice to a generation wrangling with the complexities of modern life.
After showcasing in Nashville at AmericanaFest, making her BBC Radio 2 live debut, and featuring on BBC 4’s Woman’s Hour, 2025 sees an exciting year for Simeon with her new EP Seventeen scheduled for release in May, accompanied by a debut UK headline tour.
