About us
Welcome to our group. We are free to join with no membership fees. Strictly 18+
We welcome all tastes - classic rock, alternative, metal, punk, ska, pop-punk, grunge, goth and industrial. We are a pretty diverse and open minded group of people.
If you’re new to the city and want to meet new people or just looking for a new group of friends in Birmingham then feel free to join us. We try to do a regular social event once a week but the group go on more informal nights out and meet up at gigs together.

A Celebration of Midlands Metal
The Flapper, Kingston row, B1 2NU,, Birmingham, GBThe Midweek Mosh, Surprise You’re Dead! and DC Sound Attack are putting on a brilliant fundraiser for the Heavy Metal Therapy charity. Birmingham Rock Music Fans is proud to support them.
The night promises three great live bands - Mantis Defeats Jaguar, Nameless, and Denied Legacy. There will also be a panel discussion celebrating heavy metal in Birmingham and a raffle with loads of great prizes any metal fan would love.

The show is downstairs at The Flapper. Doors are at 6 pm. We'll aim to be there for then or earlier and will let you know how to find us. If you're new to the group and want to get connected to the local metal scene this is a great event to come to! The show ends at 10 pm but we'll surely stay out afterwards.
