Alternative Networking at the Night Owl

On the last Thursday of the month Brum Radio's DJ Millabong hosts a monthly free event at the Night Owl, Let's Build An Alternative Network.

Each month DJ Millabong sits down to interview several interesting people involved in the local alternative music scene. - bands, promoters, academic researchers, radio hosts - anyone involved might be a guest on his stage. Members of this very group have been interviewed!

The structure of the evening is designed to allow for mixing and mingling between everyone there. Doors open at 6.30 and there's time to to talk before the first speaker, in between guest interviews, and afterwards. The Night Owl is a great pub and they put out seating facing the stage so you're not stood up all evening.

Whenever I've attended in the past there has been some great speakers so I thought I'd share an invitation to come along on here. There's several of us in the MeetUp Group who are regular attendees.
