Henry's Blueshouse - free live music

Tuesday is Bluesday!

We've got some new members who were asking for this one so let's return return to one of our favourite haunts, Henry's Blueshouse at Snobs.

Henry's is a free live blues night run by Birmingham music legend Jim Simpson who has been running it since the 1960s when he famously discovered Black Sabbath and became their manager in their early years. Jim is always at these events in person to say a few words and loves to say hello.

We generally try to arrive between 7 and 7.30. The bands usually play from 8 till 9 and then does a second set from 9.30 to 10.30. There's always space though so if you're late just come when suits you.

The band playing Henry's this week is Just Doin' It, a tribute to Status Quo. I've looked up some videos of them and they sound solid so it should be a fun night! If you're unfamiliar with Status Quo they were one of the biggest and best British rock bands of the 1970s.
