Henley-in-Arden, Preston Bagot Church leisurely 10-mile walk and pub stop

We had a great on this same walk last year, therefore putting it up again for mid May!
We will be starting from Henley in Arden train station and heading to Beaudesert Castle, crossing some fields to the northeast and then south to All Saints Church where we will stop to visit the small church immersed in the countryside.
We can have lunch either just after the church visit or upon reaching the canal.
We will be having a pub and toilet stop in Claverdon at the Crown Inn, and then continue the loop toward the southwest to Austy Wood, to return back to where we started.

Meet at 10:30 for an 10:45 sharp departure. We will be keeping a steady pace without rushing. Not doing the challenge hike here! But we will try to keep a decent pace.
4.5 hours for the walk + stops, so I have allowed for 5.5 hours, therefore we will be returning back to Henley around 4.30 where we can stop for drink if you wish.

Those travelling by car can park at Henley-in-Arden train station.
Wear appropriate footwear and clothing as we will be passing through various fields and woodland.

Please ensure that you are fit enough to walk 10 miles in 4.5 hours. Bring a packed lunch and drinks with you as well, please. There will be a short break incorporated into the walk for lunch.

All walks carry an element of risk and all participants will be responsible for their own safety and the organiser will not be liable for any loss of life, injuries, loss of income and financial losses as a result of you attending.

Please do not RSVP if you aren't sure of coming as it would be unfair to others. If you have to cancel, please give plenty of notice to give someone else an opportunity to go.
