Warwickshire Countryside Walk and pub stop 11 miles loop

Join me for an 11-mile walk from Lapworth rail station through the countryside around some villages in the area. We will take it easy, have a quick lunch stop and then a pub stop somewhere, probably in Lowsonford.

ROUTE:
This will be a loop starting at Lapworth Railway Station. We will be heading west to Lapworth, pass through the village, visit the church, and then cross the M40 and head south to Lowsonford where we may have a pub stop and toilet stop. We will then continue east, cross the M40 again and join the Grand Union Canal heading north back towards the railway station.
Please wear appropriate footwear and clothing as we will be passing through various fields and woodland. This is a leisurely walk and we will not be rushing or doing the challenge but keeping a decent pace at the same time.
Please ensure that you are fit enough to walk 11 miles in 5/5.5 hours, this is a leisurely pace. Bring a packed lunch and drinks with you as well, please. There will be a short break incorporated into the walk for lunch.

Lapworth Rail Station, Kingswood, Solihull B94 6LP

TRAVEL and PARKING:
This is doable by train from Moor Street or Snow Hill.
Station car park.

TIME:
Meet at 10:30 for a 10:45 sharp departure. We should be back before 17.30 (please note this is indicative, as time may vary depending on various factors which the organiser cannot always control).

All walks carry an element of risk and all participants will be responsible for their own safety and the organiser will not be liable for any loss of life, injuries, loss of income and financial losses as a result of you attending.
Please do not RSVP if you aren't sure of coming as it would be unfair to others. If you have to cancel, please give plenty of notice to give someone else an opportunity to go.
