Worcestershire Countryside Walk and pub stop 11 miles loop

Join me for an 11-mile walk from Droitwich rail station around the countryside up to Doverdale and then back. We will take it easy, have a quick lunch stop and then a pub stop in Doverdale.

ROUTE:
This will be a loop starting at Droitwich Railway Station. We will be heading west along the canal for a couple of km and then cutting through fields to head to Hadley and Doverdale. We will have lunch stop on the way and then head to the pub in Doverdale (or I may combine the two stops depending on time). We will then continue north-east to cross the railway line and then head back towards the starting location.
Please wear appropriate footwear and clothing as we will be passing through various fields and woodland. This is a leisurely walk and we will not be rushing or doing the challenge but keeping a decent pace at the same time.
Please ensure that you are fit enough to walk 11 miles in 5/5.5 hours, this is a leisurely pace. Bring a packed lunch and drinks with you as well, please. There will be a short break incorporated into the walk for lunch.

Droitwich Spa Rail Station, Union Lane, Droitwich Spa, Droitwich WR9 9BD
Meet at 10:45 for an 11:00 sharp departure. We should be back in Droitwich before 17.30. (please note this is indicative, as time may vary depending on various factors which the organiser cannot always control).
