Wooten Wawen 8 mile loop

Details
We'll start at around 10:30 and finish around 14:00, going along a canal, through some woodland, some fields, and a farm. We'll see cows, pigs, and perhaps more. When I last hiked this route I saw a few on horses.
It's a pretty flat affair, with a gentle climb when we make our way through Austy Wood in the early part of the walk. Many more downs than ups. There is one style when we re-join the canal that is friendly to dogs.
Wear sensible clothing and walking/ hiking shoes/ boots.
We'll stop for lunch somewhere suitable so also bring yourself something(s) to eat.
There'll be the option of a nice pub stop at the end, and the car park we'll depart and return to has ample free parking. There are some nice shops there if you wanted to take a look before/ after that are open 10 - 17:00 on the day.
This walk was last run by the 20s - 40s walking group on 9 August. You can view that event and see some pictures by visiting https://www.meetup.com/west-midlands-20s-40s-walking-group/events/309369010/?eventOrigin=group_events_list
