What we’re about

This group brings birthworkers together as whole people—not just professionals. Rooted in the lived experiences of Black, Indigenous, Brown, and LGBTQIA+ folks, we believe birthwork is meaningful but not a personality, and sustainability requires moving beyond martyrdom.

We gather outside of clinical and training spaces to build real relationships, restore ourselves, and stay connected to who we are beyond the work. This is a space for birthworkers, aspiring birthworkers, and aligned healthcare providers who care deeply—and want to remain in this work without burning out.

Our events center ease, joy, and community: walks, yoga, hikes, brunch, celebrations, arts and crafts, collaborations, retreats, etc. No performing care. No over-giving. Just connection, restoration, and the practices that help us stay in this work for the long haul.
