Lower Rock Creek Canyon

As we wait for the backcountry to open up, lets start on a leisurely hike. The hike is considered moderate, 9.0 miles r.t. and roughly 1250 ft. elevation gain. We will start at the end in Paradise and head up hill for roughly 4.5 miles. This will not take us to the 395 junction. At the turn around point we can take a leisurely break before heading back down the canyon to the car (s).
Please be well prepared with good sturdy hiking boot/shoes, hat, sun screen, bug repellent (never know), water, snacks/lunch, optional hiking poles, etc.
Dogs welcome, owners responsibility.
