Blockstack: Spawning the Decentralized Evolution of the Internet!

This month we will be having an exciting presentation about www.blockstack.org. Blockstack is a startup based out of New York whose goal is nothing less than to build a decentralized internet(!) with focus on data security and identity management. After 4 years of development they have built a decentralized software platform which 100s of independent developers have already utilized to build over 100 applications which run on Blockstack.

Also in recent news Blockstack has just become THE FIRST EVER digital token offering to to be approved by the SEC under their Reg A+ for their current $28M raise. It has been reported that they spent over $2M working with the SEC to build from the ground up the regulatory structure for their (and presumably other future) utility token offering(s).

The presentation will be led one of Blockstack's Atlanta based development partners, Russ Franklin. A seasoned blockchain professional with work spanning over twenty separate decentralized projects serving in many roles such as Front-End Developer, UI Designer, and Brand Consultant. Russ will be going over some of the key features of Blockstack and also touching on his own Atlanta based startup which has partnered with Blockstack, www.Pgeon.com.

In addition to this fantastic program John Rugierri will be bringing his now famous BBQ "crack" ribs.
