Bitcoin's 17th Birthday Celebration (Belated)!

It's that time of year again!!! In January 2009 Satoshi Nakamoto mined the genesis block which launched the Bitcoin network. Join us as we mark the 17th anniversary of this moment on January 29th! This ambitious experiment to create a truly free market currency available to all the world has made progress and experienced many setbacks in the past 17 years, but the experiment persists.

The genesis block was mined on January 3rd, 2009 but we usually wait a week or two for people to get over the holidays and new years to celebrate.

The celebration would not be complete without our awesome Bitcoin Atlanta BBQ and, of course, a cake! There will also be a carefully curated selection of FREE beer! Look forward to seeing you there. Feel free to bring your favorite beer selection though.
