Cristian is the Co-founder and CEO of OMNIA, an infrastructure blockchain company pioneering privacy for users interacting with Web3 applications on any device. OMNIA's mission is to prevent crucial user metadata from leaking to third parties or malicious actors while decentralizing the space.

Cristian is an accomplished member of academia, attaining his Ph.D. in privacy-enhancing technologies from the Military Technical Academy in Bucharest. Cristian's work in privacy, distributed ledger technologies, encryption algorithms, cloud security, and cryptography is recognized globally by the peer-reviewed journals organized by IEEE, the Romanian Academy, and the Military Technical Academy in Bucharest.

Before founding OMNIA Protocol, Cristian joined the Ministry of Defense in Romania as a cybersecurity expert and was promoted to the Advanced Cyber Security Technologies CoE division. Training the trainer, Cristian conducted courses for the European Union Agency for Law Enforcement Training (CEPOL) in cybersecurity and related topics. At CertSIGN, Romania's largest trust service provider, Cristian designed remote signing solutions and key management systems for PKI systems.

Alex is the Co-founder and CTO of OMNIA, an infrastructure blockchain company pioneering privacy for users interacting with Web3 applications on any device. OMNIA's mission is to prevent crucial user metadata from leaking to third parties or malicious actors.

Before founding Omnia, Alex leveraged a decade of cybersecurity and blockchain expertise spanning different sectors for start-ups, multinationals, and government. Before the age of 30, Alex became a subject matter expert for IT security and cryptography at the prestigious Military Technical Academy in Bucharest. His academic research piqued the interest of Romania’s Ministry of National Defence, and Alex received an invitation to join their elite Advanced Cyber Security Technologies Centre of Excellence division.

Thereafter, Alex was recruited by certSIGN, the largest private cryptographic and trust service provider in Romania. Here, Alex designed and implemented eIDAS compliant and Common Criteria EAL 4+ certified software solutions. Alex was fast-tracked to a leadership role and co-founded certME, and has a patent pending for secure generation, exchange, and management of user identity data using blockchain.

Alex is an active member of a global community of researchers and developers advancing secure computation techniques. He is a sought-after speaker with notable engagements at Eurocrypt, Romania Blockchain Summit, Cluj Tech Society, and MindChain.

Most recently, Alex received global coverage and recognition from Metamask for identifying a critical vulnerability that could potentially expose the personal data of the wallet’s 21 million users.
