Bitcoin Book Club

The Genesis Book: The Story of the People and Projects That Inspired Bitcoin, by Aaron Van Wirdum, explores the history behind Bitcoin. It dives into the decades leading up to Bitcoin's creation, detailing the various ideas and projects from computer scientists, privacy activists, and economists that paved the way for the world's first successful digital cash system.

Getting There:

• The closest metro stop is Foggy Bottom or Dupont Circle, about a 20-30 mins by foot or 5+ minutes by bike or scooter.
• It should be fairly easy to find street parking at 6:30pm, but there are also a couple of nearby garages.

Note: This Compass Coffee café closes at 6PM to the public but they are kind enough to open their doors to us after hours. We'll be in the back, so just knock!
