Join the Bitcoin District Book Club! We meet every month to explore new rabbit holes by reading books that are popular with bitcoiners.

This December, we're reading Resistance Money: A Philosophical Case for Bitcoin by Andrew Bailey, Bradley Rettler, and Craig Warmke. We'll be joined by one of the authors, Andrew Bailey, for a live discussion.

The authors argue that bitcoin is "resistance money," a form of money that resists censorship, confiscation, and inflation. They make the case from philosophy, drawing on ideas about money, freedom, and justice.

Bring your questions for Andrew, whether you're a skeptic, a maximalist, or somewhere in between.

Event Notes:

Discussion Starters: We'll open with a few key questions on the book's central arguments, then turn to Q&A with Andrew.

Future Reads: Have a book recommendation? Let us know and we'll add it to the list on our website.

Afterwards: Stick around to hang out, continue the conversation, and grab some food.
