What do Chatgpt and Nostr have in common? People are fascinated by text passages from both. To understand Nostr, we look at how decentralized social media is being invented and how Nostr is much more than just a purple-colored Twitter.

We will discuss how Nostr generally works, why it is different from previous social media ideas, what Nostr Improvement Proposals (NIPs) exist, and where the journey can go.
