Understanding Bitcoin Source 6

Understanding Bitcoin Source is a Socratic style seminar where we’ll dive into different aspects of the Bitcoin protocol and it’s relevant source code.

Bitcoin Core will be used as our reference; we'll build and run it together to gain a better understanding of its inner workings. The examination of other implementations, such as btcd and the unmaintained bitcore, will also serve as study material.

This seminar will be part 2 of the previous session about covenants. Previously we touched on a primer about scriptpubkeys, scriptsigs, witnesses, and Script. We also looked over the proposal for OP_CTV and started going over some of the applications that could accompany its adoption.

This session we'll be diving into more applications of OP_CTV, and dive deeper into OP_TXHASH, OP_CHECKSIGFROMSTACK, and OP_VAULT.
