A concept forked from BitDevsNYC and inspired by Bitcoin Park in Nashville, TN.

Bitcoin Harbor (AKA BitDevs Charleston) is dedicated to those with a solid understanding of Bitcoin who are eager to explore its more advanced and technical depths.

Our meetups tend to focus on topics such as coding, software development, mining, energy, and national grid efficiencies.

Our discussions utilize the Socratic Seminar format and promote open discourse, debate, and collaborative problem-solving. This mirrors Bitcoin's decentralized, open-source ethos and the relentless curiosity of the cypherpunk spirit.

Rules:

• Focus on Bitcoin: Our meetups and events are focused on Bitcoin and the technology that makes it work for our community and nation.
• No Photos: Please do not take photos unless everyone agrees and no one else is in the background. We respect everyone's privacy and want everyone to feel comfortable.
• No Side Conversations: During group discussions, please avoid side conversations.
• Clean Up: Please pick up after yourself. Respect the host premises.
• No Vaping: Vaping is not allowed except in designated areas.

FAIR WARNING: while we welcome newcomers, our sessions are designed to be a structured deep-dive into this groundbreaking technology and follow topics most newcomers might find boring.

However, we fully endorse the Charleston Bitcoin Meetup, which provides excellent resources, general guidance, and friendly people to help you understand what Bitcoin is and how it is changing the world.
