16th Bitcoin Maribor meetup - February 2025!

Na 16. meetupu skupine Bitcoin Maribor bomo razdelali strategijo podjetja Strategy (ex. MicroStrategy). Klemen K. Verstovšek je magistrand Ekonomske fakultete v Ljubljani, ki piše magistrsko delo na temo bitcoin zakladnic, katere so se prvič pojavile leta 2020, ko je podjetje Strategy naznanilo bitcoin zakladniško strategijo. Od tedaj se je njihova strategija izkazala za izjemno učinkovito, saj je povozila temelje moderne teorije portfeljev, ki je veljala za standard korporativnih finance vse od druge polovice 20. stoletja. Klemen bo predstavil bitcoin zakladniško strategijo in jo primerjal s konvencionalnim znanjem finančne stroke, nato pa se bomo podružili v kavarni Betnava.

Srečanje se bo odvilo v četrtek, 13. februarja, ob 19h v kavarni Hotela Betnava (ulica Eve Lovše 15, Maribor). Vljudno vas prosimo, da svojo udeležbo potrdite s prijavo na dogodek, ki je brezplačna.

At the 16th Bitcoin Maribor meetup, we will elaborate on the strategy of the company Strategy (ex. MicroStrategy). Klemen K. Verstovšek is a master's student at the Faculty of Economics in Ljubljana, who is writing his master's thesis on the topic of bitcoin treasuries, which first appeared in 2020, when the company Strategy announced the bitcoin treasury strategy. Since then, their strategy has proven to be extremely effective, as it overturned the foundations of modern portfolio theory, which has been considered the standard of corporate finance since the second half of the 20th century. Klemen will present the bitcoin treasury strategy and compare it with conventional knowledge in the financial profession, and then we will socialize in the Betnava cafe.

The meeting will take place on Thursday, February 13, at 7 pm in the cafe of the Hotel Betnava (Ulica Eve Lovše 15, Maribor). We kindly ask you to confirm your participation by registering for the event, which is free of charge.
