Distributed Application Software Stack: What is Eris?

Casey Kuhlman, CEO of Eris Industries, will come to Switzerland to talk about their distributed application software stack.
The second installment of the "What is Eris?" talk will focus on the technical aspects of the Eris stack. In particular the talk will look at three topics:
(1) the role smart contracts will be capable of playing within distributed systems;
(2) the benefits of maintaining consensus agnosticism for changing industries; and
(3) how the Eris stack functions.
This talk will be structured at a level approachable for non-technical people who have a relatively high understanding of how distributed systems operate generally.
