Bitcoin Embassy to host Bitcoin education booth during Mural Public Art Festival

At the Bitcoin Embassy, we never miss an occasion to promote and facilitate the adoption of Bitcoin. Last week-end, we hosted a three-day “Bitcoin Break” during the Canadian Grand Prix festivities, where tourists and locals learned about Bitcoin. The event was a great success!

This coming weekend, from June 13th to June 15th, the Bitcoin Embassy will once again be hosting an educational booth in front of its headquarters, located on Montreal’s famous Saint-Laurent Boulevard, which locals refer to simply as “The Main”. We will be opened exceptionally until 11 pm.

This event will take place in the context of the Mural Public Art Festival (http://muralfestival.com/). Last year, over 800 000 visitors attended this free outdoor festival. The Bitcoin Embassy is located right next to the Mural Festival office headquarters, where block parties will be held all week-end.

We will be selling Bitcoin starter kits, which will include a paper wallet pre-loaded with 10 mBTC (0.01 BTC) as well as detailed instructions on how to create a wallet and import funds. If you are not a beginner, buy one and offer it as a gift to a friend or family member.

We will also be distributing informational flyers, answering questions about Bitcoin and selling Bitcoin accessories.

L'Ambassade Bitcoin fera la promotion de Bitcoin durant le Festival d'Art Public Mural

À l’Ambassade Bitcoin, nous ne ratons jamais une occasion de promouvoir Bitcoin et d’en faciliter l’adoption par le public. La fin de semaine dernière, nous avons tenu un évènement de trois jours « la Pause Bitcoin » dans le contexte des festivités du Grand Prix du Canada. L’événement fût un grand succès!

Nous répétons l’expérience du 13 au 15 juin en tenant un kiosque d’information devant nos locaux sur le boulevard Saint-Laurent. La rue sera fermée aux automobilistes et réservée aux piétons et nous serons exceptionnellement ouvert jusqu'à 23h.

Cet événement aura lieu dans le contexte du Festival d'Art Public Mural (http://muralfestival.com/). L’année dernière. ce festival a attiré plus de 800 000 visiteurs. L’Ambassade Bitcoin se situe à quelques pas du quartier général de ce festival, ou auront lieu les activités principales liées au Festival Mural.

Nous ferons la vente d’un « Kit de démarrage ». Il inclut, entre autre, un porte-monnaie papier qui contenant 10 mBTC (0.01BTC) ainsi que des instructions détaillées sur comment se créer son propre porte-monnaie Bitcoin et y importer les fonds associés au porte-monnaie papier. C'est le cadeau idéal pour un Bitcoinner qui souhaite initier des membres de son entourage à Bitcoin.

Nous distribuerons également de pamphlets informatifs, feront la vente d’accessoires Bitcoin et répondront aux questions du public.
