Join Will O'Beirne in a lesson on how to build your very own Lightning app, and how to run a production-safe Lightning node. Get started in accepting micropayments with a modern React frontend.
React and Javascript coding experience is not strictly required to participate, but will make it easier to follow along. For the best experience, you should have your own Lightning node as well (Testnet or mainnet.)
Will is a builder of decentralized applications, and an open source contributor to the Lightning ecosystem. He's currently working on Joule, a browser extension that connects your node to Lightning apps.
Logistics
This workshop will be held at a new location, just north of UIC at 1033 West Van Buren, 3rd Floor, Chicago, IL 60607 from 6-9pm.
