Bitcoin Pizza Day at Bitcoin Park Austin (The Commons)

Bitcoin Pizza Day at Bitcoin Park Austin (The Commons)

Bitcoin Park Austin, 601 Congress Avenue, Suite 250, Austin, TX, US

It's Pizza Day and we're throwing a party!
May 22 - 4:30pm-6:30pm at Bitcoin Park Austin (The Commons)
Happy Hour and Pizza.

Bitcoiners and all curious about bitcoin are welcome!
Thank you to
Bitwise Asset Management for supporting this celebration at Bitcoin Park on May 22 to honor the unsung heroes keeping the Bitcoin network running strong: the developers.
Come hungry and ready to connect with fellow Bitcoiners over a tradition that all have come to enjoy.

The history: on May 22 2010,
Laszlo Hanyecz, made what's widely considered the first real-world commercial transaction using Bitcoin. He posted on the BitcoinTalk forum offering 10,000 BTC to anyone who would order him two pizzas.
See you there!

Please RSVP as it helps us plan.

When you arrive:

  • Someone will be at the main door to greet you and let you in. The elevator will already be unlocked and waiting for you.
  • Once inside, just press 2 and it will take you straight up to the second floor.

Just in case something doesn’t work as planned:

  • You can also walk through the Capital One Café (it’s open to the public) and take the elevator from there, or shoot a quick message on Signal to Jack (@jackless.09) and he’ll come right down to get you.
