### What is Your Management Framework? Building Bitcoin Businesses for the Long Term

Bitcoin businesses are built on principles of sound money, sovereignty, and decentralization. Yet, short term optimization, centralization, and old frameworks for managing teams, often influenced by prior experiences and mental models, can get in the way of our mission to bring more sovereignty and freedom to the world through the advancement of sound money. What if there was a better approach that empowered our teams to drive results consistent with the ethos and principles we hold dear?
What You'll Learn:
This keynote explores how to translate Bitcoin principles—low time preference, long-term thinking, and first-principles reasoning—into your day-to-day management practices. We'll cover:

  • Why your management framework matters (and why not carefully developing your management framework is a choice)
  • How to build during the bear market
  • How long-term thinking and low time preference creates sustainable competitive advantage

Why Attend:
If you're a Bitcoin or finance founder who believes in playing the long game, this session will challenge how you think about leadership and give you a framework for thinking differently about your business.
About the Speaker:
Jason Hughey leads consulting at Satoshi Pacioli, a Bitcoin-native accounting firm serving founders who want to build for impact. With over ten years of experience in customer experience, team building, and organizational leadership, Jason brings a cross-disciplinary perspective drawing from business leaders, investors, economists, Bitcoiners, and military strategy. As a practicing Bitcoiner, he's committed to helping founders align their businesses with their values.

Please RSVP as space will be limited.

When you arrive:

  • Someone will be at the main door to greet you and let you in. The elevator will already be unlocked and waiting for you.
  • Once inside, just press 2 and it will take you straight up to the second floor.

Just in case something doesn’t work as planned:

  • You can also walk through the Capital One Café or Mexta Restaurant (it’s open to the public) and take the elevator from there, or shoot a quick message on Signal to Jack (@jackless.09) and he’ll come right down to get you.

If this is your first time at one of our meetups, we have a few simple guidelines to enhance everyone’s experience:

  • our meetups and events have a simple and singular focus: Bitcoin. All of our topics and discussions will be centered around Bitcoin, the global monetary network, and bitcoin, the reserve asset. If you are interested in crypto tokens, stocks, blockchains, altcoins, alternative investing, NFTs, etc. that is completely fine. There are a number of other meetups to join. This meetup however is just focused on Bitcoin
  • please no photos unless no one is identifiable in the background. We respect everyone’s privacy and want everyone to feel comfortable as they participate
  • while the group discussion is going, please keep side conversations to none. With the acoustics of the room and the number of people we expect, any conversations will echo and be a distraction for those who are trying to listen many of whom have traveled a long way to participate
  • please pick up after yourself
  • Street parking or the paid garage across from our building on East 6th (515 Congress)
