This month’s meet-up will be “Bitcoin Mining” themed, and will include:

A screening of STRANDED, a short award winning film by Alana Mediavilla about Bitcoin mining at 8pm. It explores the story of Bitcoin miners who've uncovered a way to harness stranded electricity, transforming it into Bitcoin; explaining how it acts as an energy buyer of first AND last resort and can help build electricity infrastructure to parts of the world it’s been impossible before. It offers a glimpse into the fascinating world of Bitcoin mining and serves as the perfect precursor to the coming full-length feature documentary DIRTY COIN https://www.dirtycointhemovie.com

Headline attendees: Susie Violet Ward, Freddie New & Russell Rukin
Susie is a Director of Bitcoin Policy UK (BPUK) and is Head of Mining and Sustainability.
