Monthly Bitcoin Meetup: December

December Topic: Strike

The Strike app is a mobile application that allows users to easily buy, sell, and send Bitcoin, primarily focusing on utilizing the Lightning Network for fast and low-cost transactions globally; essentially acting as a user-friendly gateway to access Bitcoin with features like sending money directly to mobile wallets or bank accounts in supported countries.

Strike just recently launched a bill-pay feature, like all the major banks use, which as we will discuss can finally make living on a fiat-less Bitcoin-standard a reality.

Remember the bar has no food, so either eat before you come or bring a pizza! Look for a group of eclectic thinkers, at least one person will probably be wearing a Bitcoin shirt.

We will have a short presentation then the rest of the night is beer and conversation.

We also have a Facebook group for extra reach, and for easier communication. This doesn't replace the Meetup.com group though.
