Bitkiwi XIV is here!
We’re back in Wellington this time round, where it all began.
Our 14th event also represents the third anniversary of Bitkiwi 1.
Since then we’ve cycled round the country, holding events in four cities across both islands, watching them grow and improve, but always making them free and open to all. We’ve really only run this twitter account and posted events on the kiwi bitcoin guide, it’s all been successful thanks to the NZ Bitcoin community and good old fashioned word of mouth.
We’ve seen our regular attendees start their own local meet-ups, form successful bitcoin companies together, speak and perform at international conferences, win accolades at hackathon events, build bitcoin online games, start up the Bitcoin Policy Institute of NZ, establish successful bitcoin podcasts, and tons of other awesome things.
Bitkiwi events are the best place to come meet other Bitcoiners, learn about Bitcoin from experienced, knowledgeable people, and even to have a go at using Bitcoin.
So we’re in our home town Wellington for the 14th edition, and we have a local venue that accepts Bitcoin over the lightning network to boot!
