How: Facilitated group discussion in the style of a socratic seminar
It will be pitched at an approachable level for everyone to take part, but there will probably be some assumed bitcoin basics and we may cover some more advanced topics during the session. Beginners are still welcome! You definitely don’t need to be a developer or know how to read code to participate or listen in!

Ask a Bitcoin Developer - Tobin Harding

In this presentation, Tobin will give us a run down on some aspects of free open source development in bitcoin and what it's like to be an open source contributor, as well as answer any questions you might have about bitcoin development

Dealing with common objections to Bitcoin - John Pratt

In this presentation and discussion, we will go through a number of common objections to Bitcoin that many of us face when attempting to "orange pill" the rest of the community.

This may help to assuage concerns of your own, as well as arm you with arguments you can deploy yourself against naysayers.

Tobin Harding - Tobin is a maintainer of the Rust Bitcoin library, for which he is sponsored by OpenSats. Rust Bitcoin is critical infrastructure for projects like Bitcoin Dev Kit (BDK), Lightning Dev Kit (LDK), Electrs, and Fedimint. These projects in turn power many of your favourite bitcoin wallets and apps. He is passionate about open source development and excited to talk to us about Bitcoin.
