Discussing Malaysia’s Digital Asset Exchange Enhancements

We’re hosting a small group discussion on the Securities Commission Malaysia’s recent Consultation Paper on the Proposed Enhancements to the Framework for Digital Asset Exchanges in Malaysia.
Regulatory changes in these areas could significantly affect how we hold, trade, and secure our Bitcoin in Malaysia. If you care about financial sovereignty, transparency, and the security of your assets, your input is vital.
We’ll go through the paper, especially for us bitcoiners because the paper includes new proposals impacting requirements for registered exchanges when it comes to their self custody requirements. For instance, we may want to propose for exchanges to be required to disclose their proof reserves.
