Adam recently came back from El Salvador where Bitcoin is legal tender and people use it, via Lightning Network to perform daily talks.
He will share with us from 1st hand experience how things went.
After Adam’s presentation, we will all get to use Lightning Network.
It is easier than you think, all you need is a mobile phone.
Adam is one of the main maintainers and developers of JoinMarket.
He has been an open-source contributor since 2014 focusing on Bitcoin projects.
Adam is a big fan of LN, considering that they are working on a new method to use it as a messaging system for JoinMarket.
This will NOT be a technical talk.
The point of this gathering is to show people how things work by example, not to theorise.
