Bitcoin Dance Party at Gossip Nightclub (FREE DRINKS!)

This is a nightclub that is popular with other Meet Up groups, and I have hosted events here many times. Subsequently, I have a contract with them, and since they give me the tickets for distribution, this nightclub effectively accepts bitcoins for entrance on Saturdays (if you get your tickets from me before entering).

If you want extra drinks inside, however, and do not have fiat, you will have to sell me your bitcoins for dollars, because the bar is cash only. I apologize for that, but it is impossible to convince a nightclub to accept BTC inside unless sufficient interest can be demonstrated. I hope with this event to gauge Bitcoiners' interest, and if it is sufficient, I promise that we will have total Bitcoin acceptance (whether here or elsewhere) very soon.

We're going to Gossip Nightclub. Gossip is a big fancy club near BC Place Stadium, which is famous for holding the Olympics and for it's retractable roof. If you're coming from the direction of downtown or the closest Skytrain station (Stadium-Chinatown), the easiest way to get there is to walk down Beatty Street until you reach the Stadium, then walk around the Stadium until you're on the other side. Then you will be on Pacific Boulevard, and from there you should be able to see Edgewater Casino. Gossip is right next to Edgewater Casino, so if you get to there, you're at Gossip.

Although Gossip Nightclub is packed with local Canadians on most nights, on Saturday nights they are very popular with ESL students! If you go to an ESL school, you might see other people from your school hanging around. The DJ's (disc jockey) for the night will be Downlowe, KIDD and a surprise special guest, who will play music like electronic dance, R&B, hip hop and party anthems. Everybody who comes gets at least 1 FREE DRINK, plus a discount on cover! Just make sure to RSVP and get your ticket from me, or I do not get a free drink ticket to give to you.

There is a fee of $15 or equivalent BTC to get into the club. That is pretty normal, but the full price is $20 for everyone else without a ticket. DO NOT pay cover at the front of the line like everybody else. They gave me tickets, so buy your tickets from me, instead. I am the only one equipped to accept Bitcoin, so you will be forced to pay fiat, otherwise. Meet me outside of Gossip, and you can get your ticket there. If I am not outside, text message me, and I will come outside.

You must be at least 19 years old to attend; don't forget that you need two valid pieces of identification, and that at least one of your IDs must show your photo. You're allowed to show up late, but if you show up after 11:30 PM, I might be unable to give you a ticket, and you might not get a free drink.
