Casey Kuhlman (http://www.bitcoinwednesday.com/profile-casey-kuhlman/), CEO and founder of Eris Industries, which is a platform for smart contracts and legal applications of blockchain technology, will present some of his latest thinking on enterprise solutions with the blockchain.
Casey will talk through the various components of how a typical blockchain application is structured and tell us how he solves real world business problems with the blockchain. Casey is a former U.S. marine who served in Iraq and wrote a bestselling book about his experiences.
For the first time during Bitcoin Wednesday, two talented artists, Christina Yarashevich and Janne van Hoof (http://www.bitcoinwednesday.com/profile-christina-yarashevich-and-janne-van-hooff/), will present their work: DATTOO allows you to reclaim your biometric data, and addresses critical issues such as data collection, cryptography, identity, privacy and the popularization of technology.
On 5 August Stichting Bitcoin Nederland (http://stichtingbitcoin.nl/), the Bitcoin Foundation of The Netherlands, will also conduct its second poll for 2015 about the needs and concerns of the Dutch digital currency community. Based on recent developments and our progress or lack thereof, there will be a discussion, followed by a poll to see how the sector's priorities have changed.
