'About Children’s House'
Children’s House (formally known as Seongmo orphanage) was founded by Mother Pamula in 1953 as Korean War ended. Since then, they have dedicated to providing a shelter, care, education, and rehabilitation treatment for disabled children. Now, it is home to 41 sweet children.

'Program'
2:15-3:00 Orientation for volunteers
3:00-5:00 Playing with children

'Please note'
Do wear comfortable clothes (please avoid a see-through or dark-colored clothes)
Do pay attention to the children, safety is very important. We are responsible for their wellbeing while we are there.
Do your best to be their friend.
Do be on time.
Do not wear your accessories such as rings, necklaces or watches.
Do not use your cell phone (Children might beg you to use it)
Do not compare these children to others.

'About Busan International Volunteers(BIV)'

BIV is a voluntary organization established by the students of Nano Science & Technology college, Pusan National University in July, 2014. We have worked to help foreigners living in Busan adapt to local culture for over a year, offering a program that teaches 'one – one’ Korean language tutoring. Adding to our effort, we, both Korean and foreign volunteers, will lend our hands to the local community by joining a variety of weekend volunteer work.
'What is the BIV doing now?' - Help foreigners learn Korean (Wednesdays 7pm, Seomyeon)

아이들의 집 소개

아이들의 집은 1950년 6.25일에 일어난 한국전쟁이 1953년 휴전 협정에 들어간 이후 '파물라 수녀'가 부산에 설립한 성모보육원이 그 모태이다. 설립이후 많은 사람들의 도움덕분에 장애유아의 수용 보호와 교육 및 재활 치료를 위한 목적아래 많은 노력을 기울이고 있고, 현재 41명의 장애아동들의 따듯한 안식처로써 봉사자들과 함께 그 역할을 하고 있다. 설립목적

2:15 - 3:00 봉사활동을 위한 기초교육
3:00 - 5:00 아이들과 함께 놀아주기(자세한 설명은 기초교육 때 하겠습니다)

봉사활동 시 유의할 점

• 편안한 복장을 하되 속이 비치는 옷, 어두운 색의 옷, 노출이 심한 옷은 삼가해주세요
• 시계, 반지, 목걸이 등의 장신구를 삼가해 주세요
• 핸드폰 사용을 금해주세요(아이들이 달라고 떼를 씁니다)
• 자신에게 맡겨진 아이인만큼, 그 시간만큼은 최선을 다해서 친구가 되어주세요
• 자신이 맡은 아이보다 다른아이가 더 예쁘고 마음에 들더라도, 자신에게 맡겨진 아이에게 충실하여 아이들이 마음에 상처를 받지 않게 해 주세요

Busan International Volunteers 소개

Busan International Volunteers(이하 BIV)는 부산대학교 나노과학기술 대학 학생들이 2014년 7월에 만든 국제봉사단체입니다(부산시 자원봉사센터 정식등록). 처음 1년동안은 한국에 거주하는 외국인들의 현지적응을 돕기위해 '1:1한글교육 봉사'를 시행해 왔으며, 더나아가 피봉사자였던 원어민들과 함께 부산시의 사회구성원으로서 지역사회에 기여하는 다양한 활동형 주말봉사를 시행할 계획입니다. 활동중인 봉사활동

• 외국인들은 위한 한글교육봉사(매주 수요일 저녁 7시,서면)
• 아이들의 집 놀이봉사(일요일 2시 15분 ,동부산대학)
