Overview
As a follow-up to our last Meetup on Waste to Energy Industry – the plight of waste management in Thailand (SEA JUNCTION, December 12, 2018), we are excited to offer you an unforgettable opportunity to visit and explore local waste management facilities in Bangkok. The field trip will include visits to On-Nut landfill and On-Nut zero waste bank. Participation is limited to 10-12 Explorers.
Trip Details / Cost
The trip is tentatively scheduled for a half day, from 13.00 -17.00. The cost for the entire trip is 250 baht/person, inclusive of transport and tour guides. We recommend that all participants either bring their own masker or buy one for 150 baht/mask.
Trip Itinerary: Saturday, February 16, 2019
13.00: Meet at “ Payathai AirportLink Train Station. Money Changers as meeting point.
13.30 —14.00: Go to Landkrabang AirportLink Train Station. A van will be waiting for us there.
14.30 —15.15: Visit “On-Nut Landfill and Waste treatment village”
15.15 —15.30: Short break
15.45—16.30: Visit “ Zero waste bank On-nut “
16:30—17.00: Return travel to Ladkrabang Airport Link Station + Payathai station
