BWWG Summer Social!

Get to know your fellow writers better at our summer social! BWWG members have shared that they would like more time to get to know each other beyond the scheduled writing sessions. We want to get to know you better, too! This event is inclusive of women-identifying, nonbinary, and trans writers.

The focus of this casual gathering will be to meet other writers and share more about what you're working on. We will not have designated writing time, but you're welcome to join us for the virtual writing session scheduled afterwards.

• 11:00 am - Start time, come hang out!
• 11:15 am - We'll each share what we're working on in more detail with the full group.
• After share outs, keep the conversation going. Ask questions of other writers and find inspiration from their comments. Don't worry if you arrive late, we want to hear from you, too!

Bring Your Own:

• Beverage
• Snack
• Sunscreen and sunhat
• Pen and notebook
• Blanket
• Whatever will make you feel comfy!

If you'd like to join us for the virtual writing session at 1:30 pm afterwards, RSVP here and consider bringing your laptop and eating beforehand. We will have limited seating nearby for folks who want to join directly from the social.

Where: Prospect Park (rain or shine). We'll meet on the lawn inside the Grand Army Plaza entrance. In the event of rain, check the Meetup event comments for an updated location.
