BAE Collective Turns 2 This August! 🖤

I honestly can’t believe it’s been two years since Black Art Enthusiasts Collective began back in August 2024. What started as a small idea to bring Black art lovers together has grown into such a beautiful, supportive, creative community and I’m so grateful for everyone who has been part of the journey.

There were definitely moments where I thought the collective may not continue. Last year especially, I had to take a long hiatus due to ongoing health issues, and even now I’m still navigating certain things behind the scenes. That’s also why I’m so grateful to have Julia supporting me as co-host
But despite all of that… we’re still here. Still growing. Still showing up for art, conversation, community, and each other.

To celebrate our 2-year anniversary, we’ll be visiting the Tate Britain to see the Hurvin Anderson Exhibition exhibition
Afterwards, I’ve booked a table at The Riverside, which is around a 10-minute walk from Tate Britain, so we can continue the conversations, celebrate together, and reflect on the journey of BAE Collective so far

Priority for the dinner portion will be given to members who:
• Have paid their membership dues
• Have been attending/supporting the collective consistently
• Have attended more than two meetups
If there’s enough interest (more than 10 people), I’ll look into booking a larger space.
