Ready to trade pavement for pine needles—and then swap your hiking boots for some of the best street food in Florida?

Join us for a high-energy, best-of-both-worlds adventure featuring our Monthly Black Bear Wilderness Hike, followed immediately by a well-earned takeover of the Sanford Food Truck Fiesta. We’re earning our calories first… then enjoying every bite.

🌲 Part 1: The Wild (The Hike)
We’ll kick off the day at Black Bear Wilderness Area, tackling a 7.1-mile loop that’s anything but ordinary. This premier Central Florida hike winds through shaded oak hammocks, lush cypress swamps, and narrow creek crossings, with sweeping views of the St. Johns River floodplain along the way.

Keep your eyes open—we don’t call it Black Bear for nothing. Wildlife sightings often include deer and wild turkeys, and yes, the occasional bear has been spotted in the area. It’s the perfect chance to unplug, recharge, and immerse yourself in real Florida wilderness before shifting gears for the fun part.

The food truck fiesta in Sanford is optional.

🌮 Part 2: The Reward (The Fiesta)
After conquering the trail, we’ll head straight to Historic Downtown Sanford for the Sanford Food Truck Fiesta. Expect dozens of local food trucks, live music, and a lively community vibe. Whether you’re craving gourmet sliders, fusion tacos, loaded fries, or something sweet, you’ll have earned every single bite.
