Zuri
As a senior software engineer at Black Cape, Zuri Hunter brings a unique blend of technical know-how and passion for community building to the table. During her time at the illustrious Howard University, where she earned her bachelor's in Computer Information Systems, was just the beginning of her journey. She taught herself Ruby on Rails and put her newfound skills to the test at local hackathons and on projects like the US Presidential Innovation Fellows Hack the Pay Gap hackathon.

Joel
Joel is currently a Frontend Software developer at Coinbase, where he has built solutions for onboarding and identity helping bring people into crypto and seamlessly access their accounts. He has 2 years of experience in the tech industry, and previously was a civil engineer and project manager in the construction space prior to making his transition throughout the pandemic. He’s also passionate about talking to and mentoring those preparing to pivot into the tech industry and encouraging people of color to break into the tech industry. In his spare time you can find him hiking, biking, taking a cooking class, or preparing for a 5K.

Donald G
Donald is a Michigan native and Howard University Business School graduate. He has worked with NASA, Apple, and Compass Real Estate. He prides himself on being a multiplier, using his creative skill set to make people around him better. Donald’s current focus is on building a content consulting business.
