Teach in France: Info Session for Black Educators & Adventurers

Details
Curious about teaching in France—even if you’ve never taught before?
You don’t need teaching experience. You don’t need to speak French. What schools are looking for are native English speakers—and that might be you.
I’ve spent the past 7 years teaching at several universities and a business school in France.
This info session is created for Black people who are ready for something new—whether you’re solo, partnered, or part of a family.
• Black families who want to experience life abroad are especially welcome. (Note: The teacher salary may not support a whole family on its own, so this may be ideal if one partner has remote work. However, France does offer financial support for families with children, which may help ease some of those concerns.)
• I’m also hoping to reach those of us who are often overlooked for international opportunities—especially people in their 40s and beyond who are craving a fresh chapter.
I am doing this in the hopes of building my vision of a Black village in France.
Not only a physical location, but a shared feeling—a sense of connection, support, and wellbeing rooted in joy, ease, and unity. It’s an invitation to be part of something meaningful with the right hearts and mindsets around the table.
Let’s build bridges for more Black people to come over. And even if you’re not hired to teach this time around, I hope you’ll want to stay connected with me and explore other ways to be part of this growing community of Black expats in France.
Whether you want to explore life in France for a year or use it as a gateway to travel the rest of Europe, this contract offers a low-stress, short-term opportunity—with the possibility to work up to two years.
This is a Q&A session, not a formal presentation. I’ll be sharing my experience and answering questions to help you see if this path might be right for you.
BRING your questions to the info session and not in the comment section please.
I’ve helped folks in France get into teaching before, but this is my first time doing it for people living overseas on a large platform like this—so please come with patience and good vibes.
Important Notes:
• This session is exclusively for Black participants.
• This event is free.
• Please be ready to begin as soon as you join the session. Cameras MUST be on. Mics muted until the Q&A portion.
Let’s explore what’s possible—together.
