What we’re about
What does it mean to travel as a black woman in 2024? With the visible marker of skin colour and the added layer of being a female, travel to destinations where it is easy to be identified as the minority can be off putting for many who want to see the world without feeling like ‘the other’.
We empower women to share their stories and hear from experts who can help them with their first steps exploring the world. Whether you have a passport full of stamps or are yet to embark on your first solo trip – BFTLDN is open to black women of all ages with a passion for travel. With expansion into group trips, and monthly meet-ups exploring London and beyond, we’re powering community and building a permanent space for Black women in the travel world.
