February is all about love ❤️ ! We will be reading Communion by bell hooks. Here are some questions to consider when reading this month :

1. How does bell hooks describe love in the book? Did her ideas change how you think about love?
2. How do you think society’s expectations affect the way women experience love? Did the book make you think differently about this?
3. What does bell hooks say about the importance of self-love and healing? How does this relate to your own life?
4. How does the book explain the challenges Black women face in love because of race and gender? Did this give you new insights?
5. What did you learn from the book about growing as a person and how it affects relationships? How can you apply this to your life?
