What we’re about
This Black Girl loves to read and I am looking for other women of color who enjoy reading as well. After reading a good book I often want to sit and talk with friends about what I just read and I don’t have that space so I’m hoping to create it!
We will tackle fiction and non-fiction as well as some YA novels. Most books will be written by BIPOC but we may venture into other books written by others not on the melanin spectrum.
So let’s meet for brunch and engage in some good girlfriend conversations.

Our next book club pick is Wild Women and the Blues by Denny Brice. Thanks so much for this recommendation from last months meeting. The weather is getting warmer and I would love to take the next few meetings outside to some of our local vineyards across the state. Planning for an earlier start time because the seating at this Vineyard is first come first serve. Feel free to bring some snacks to share!See you soon!
