What we’re about
Playground Gatherings is an events curation service centering Black LGBTQ+ Chicagoans in intentional experiences across the city. We now offer monthly playdates, connecting Black queer kin to the kid within. PG Playdates are designated occasions to visit new venues, do your favorite activities, learn new hobbies, and see the city with other Black queer young people. Our programming is guided by the theory that folk can best create new connections when sharing unique, new experiences.

We’re celebrating Pride with a legendary line-up of 12 Black queer DJs. This showcase is the product of 5 Black queer spacemakers who have joined forces to bring you the biggest bash our community has seen to date. You do not want to miss this history in the making.
At Never Have I Ever, we will have two concurrent stages to allow us to bring you 6 hours of head-to-head DJ sets representing a broad array of genres and styles.
