Wonderful Black Love Friends & Family:

I am excited to feature work by our very own Cincinnati Black Love member Karen Marie for this year’s adult coloring event. She is a creative Black Culture enthusiast, and fashion designer of Simply Me, Karen Marie Fashion. Another passion of hers is art philanthropist of the Treye Jenkins Smith Art Fund. As a retired English/Humanities Professor, Karen has recently written a book entitled “Take Your Coat Off and Stay a While; a fashion designer coloring book with designer stories. You can purchase a copy of her book on Amazon by entering the title of the book.

We will meet at Nelly’s, a Latin American restaurant known for it’s Bolivan cuisine. There should be something on the menu everyone can enjoy. You can view their menu by clicking on this link; https://www.nellysbolivia.com/menu

The restaurant is located at the address shown below, and there is parking next to the building. Reservations are under Janice Jones.

Nelly’s
79 S. Main Street
Centerville, OH. 45458

While we are waiting for our meals, we will be adult coloring pictures of Karen’s designs as well as Black History figures, and discussing the stories behind them.

I look forward to seeing you all there!

It’s all about Love,

Rubie (aka Janice Jones)
